Botox
Botulinum Toxin Administration
It is an injection method applied by injecting botulinum toxin into the relevant muscle.
A very small amount of botulinum toxin is injected into the facial muscles responsible for the movements that create lines and wrinkles. This injection weakens the muscles, thereby reducing the associated lines and wrinkles. It is much less effective for fine structure changes on the skin surface and lines that exist at rest.
Relaxation in the muscles lasts for 3-6 months, that is, it must be repeated regularly for the continuation of the effect.
After being applied to the targeted muscles, its effect increases progressively within 3-5 days and is completed within 10-12 days.
During this period, you may notice asymmetry in the treated areas, but this will resolve on its own as the drug takes effect. Botox is also used in the treatment of wrinkle removal, underarm sweating and recently migraine.
For reasons that are not fully understood, some individuals are less sensitive and resistant to the effects of botulinum toxin. In these people, the effect of botulinum toxin may not be as good or long-lasting as expected, and there may not be any effect at all. Therefore, no guarantee can be given regarding the results of the application.
